Let me sit here, let me be.
Please, for now no society.
This is not hate nor indifference.
This is my wish to be with me.
Offer me no helping Hand.
Touch me not and understand.
Quiet is my somber garment.
Solitude, my simple garland.
Let me detach for some time.
Later I shall bend these knees
to pray, to worship my God,
and to break bread with Peace.
